Racer Rules

Applicable To All MCMR Racers

  • ALL RACERS competing MUST sign race waiver. 
  • Racer MUST attend 50% of the scheduled races to be eligible for the end of the year payouts.
  • RACERS can NOT share a machine in the same class on the same day. A machine can only race one time in a registered class at EACH event. 
  • The racer is registered for MCMR points. You can change machines within a season, as long as it fits the registered class specifications, but not during a class on event day. 
  • All Racers get best our of 5 races for points with 1 throw away race.
  • Double elimination racing (Side x Side). Random opponents within class 
  • Number are drawn at registration to determine the order of heats.
  • MCMR use the double clothes pin methods/double elimination. (2 clothes pin to start, loss 1 race you will loss 1 clothes pin. Loss a 2nd race you’re eliminated from the competition. (EXCEPTION: QUADNA is single elimination per High Lifter’s request.) 
  • Each racer is guaranteed 2 races as long as machine is able. (EXCEPTION: QUADNA is single elimination per High Lifter’s request.) 
  • Winner is determined by the driver & machine crossing the finish line first (If competitors both get stuck driver & machine closest to the finish line is declared the winner.
  • Once your class has started, remain in the pit area. 
  • Racers hook tow cable to their machines. 
  • Racers take all ques from the racing lights. 
  • Rollovers, you will receive help from pit staff. This will be marked as a loss. 
  • Racers and their machines are permitted to move up in the various classes but never down. 
  • All racers, upon the completion of a race will immediately return to staging. Failure to do so could result in disqualification. i.e. No side repairs, no washing of radiators unless done in staging line. 
  • 5 minutes will be granted for quick IN LINE STAGING machine repairs. Beyond 5 minutes will result in a loss of one pin or elimination if only have one pin left on double elimination races. If you or your machines are unable to compete when your heat is up, this is marked as a loss. If you are no longer able to compete, notify race officials immediately. 
  • ALL RACERS will wear a helmet. 
  • ALL RACERS must wear over the ankle boots(preferred motorcross style boot), Gloves and Eye protection Recommended 
  • Race Officials have the right to adjust your class based on machine modifications and class size registration. 
  • ALL RACE MACHINES will be looked over prior to races to confirm proper class is registered.
  • ALL RACED ATVs MUST HAVE A TETHER FOR RIDER AND SPECTATOR SAFETY. 
  • Questions regarding class selection should only be directed to race officials. 
  • Any machine is subject to tech inspection by officials.
  • ALL RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. ALL QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO MCMR RACE OFFICIALS.

  • Any engine mod is allowed as long as engine is a brand specific and is an ATV engine. 
  • No tracks 
  • NO PADD

Stock Classes Guidlines/Rule

0-600CC Stock Class

   

  • Cash Payout Only, will only run this class if 3 or more racers sign up.
  • Any rubber base tire is allowed but must be a production tire. No greater than 32"
  • No Crushed wheel is allowed in this class. Lift kits are permitted but must be a “bolt on” no more than 3”.
  • Any production chassis can be used
  • NO A arm stretches are allowed and forward a-arms are allowed.
  • Only Power add-ons allowed are bolt on. EX: Exhaust Programmer, Clutching
  • Snorkels permitted and encouraged
  • No tracks or steel tires. 
  • NO PADDLE TIRES 
  • HELMETS REQUIRED

 601-1000CC Stock Class 

  • Cash Payout Only, will only run this class if 3 or more racers sign up.
  • Any rubber base tire is allowed but must be a production tire. No greater than 32"
  • No Crushed wheel is allowed in this class. Lift kits are permitted but must be a “bolt on” no more than 3”.
  • Any production chassis can be used
  • NO A arm stretches are allowed and forward a-arms are allowed.
  • Only Power add-ons allowed are bolt on. EX: Exhaust Programmer, Clutching
  • Snorkels permitted and encouraged
  • No tracks or steel tires. 
  • NO PADDLE TIRES
